Eternal Provisions

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God

Recent natural disasters have resulted in millions across the world seeking basic necessities in desperation. The heartbreaking images of people waiting for food, water, and other rations are painful. It certainly prompts us to live a life of gratitude and reminds us to take stock of our life.

The promises found in the scriptures should comfort us and give us hope eternal. God provides for us from his bank of endless resources. He provides for us more than what we expect and deserve.

Most importantly, He provides more of Himself. His availability is devoid of space and time. And finally, He has made way for ultimate provisions through the redemptive work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

No matter what our needs, no matter what our circumstances, let’s boldly claim the promise found in Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
