Overcome with grace

The children of Israel journeyed through the wilderness under the cloudy pillar during the day and a pillar of fire at night. God took them through the wilderness to teach them their weaknesses, to test them for obedience and to trust in God. God met their every need. There was no reason for them to complain. Yet, they did like spoiled children. But God provided for them.

A believer is led by God through this wilderness journey. Every now and then we face impossible obstacles. When confronting these, they realize they cannot overcome it by their own strength. Their helplessness and weakness become evident. When they are at their wits end and their cry goes up, help arrives. It is the strength of Almighty God, the creator of the universe, who sends help. They will wish the obstacles will be removed and they will have healing, joy and peace.

It is important for us to understand that the resources that God provides are designed for us to be strong, joyful and fearless when we face these seemingly impossible situations. No matter what it is, God provides us with grace. Can you imagine if God did not provide us the grace? God is generous. There is no limit on how much grace one can receive. He will heap it upon the believer in sufficient measure to let him overcome. He knows our need and provides grace daily. The issues, problems, sickness and circumstances may not go away but He will provide a way for us to be victorious. Even if your problems are as big as the walls of Jericho for you it will tumble down. Praise the Lord. “My grace is sufficient for thee”. 2 Cor. 12:9
