There is an epidemic of people around us trying to find approval of man. The reason could vary as to why every individual want to please man.
It could stem from being rejected, hurt, or being abused in childhood or adulthood by someone near and dear.
So, the first question is whose approval are we seeking daily? Are we pleasers of God or human beings?
Seeking approval of man can end up in a lifetime of misery, oppression, and enslavement.
Now the second and important question is where can we find our acceptance?
Our Acceptance can be found only in Christ Jesus.
Colossians 3:23(KJV) says, “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men.”
Galatians 1:10 (NIV) - Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Do I crave for human praise?
Do I feel the need to be accepted by friends and family ?
Do I show my spirituality only in the Church just so that the fellow members will be able to measure my Christian walk?
When we renounce our self and the anxiety of what others are thinking about us , we are able to experience peace in the Lord Jesus Christ. He alone can see how true our heart is.
Let us exalt our Heavenly Father and pleasers of God, the One who already has a seal of approval on you.
Until next time
