TASTING DEATH !

Often when we cook , we end up invariably tasting the food inorder to evaluate its quality even though it might not be edible yet ( and might give us a belly ache ! ) But we do it to ensure that others won't get sick from eating raw food.

Similarly Jesus Christ tasted death, took the first step into darkness for our sakes. He went alone into that darkness for sins not of His Own but mine. He suffered punishment not for crimes of His Own but mine. And so He rightfully became the First Born from the dead to offer up Access to all those who would believe in Him.
