ZECHARIAH 4:7 What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain. Then he will bring forth the capstoneaccompanied by shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’”
The Lord showed that when we are facing mountains that apparently look immovable & insurmountable we are not to panic. Although they seem to be a majestic obstacle before you, you are simply asked to FALL on your knees with lifted hands. You will look to the Maker of the Mountains and see Him - Jesus Christ - Higher than all these mountains opposing you. His Feet will split that mountain in half.
From your valley perspective you might feel tiny but the Lord commands you to look past into your PAST. See! how many mountains /nightmares He has enabled you to climb in your life. He will therefore strengthen you to climb the present mountains opposing you.
Behold ! The Lord has taken your mountains on His own shoulders while ascending that Mount of Calvary/ Golgotha. He took it all for your sake. He became SIN- He became your very FAILURE, your DEFEAT, your PAIN, AMEN and by His Stripes you are made whole. He took your heavy laden burdens inorder that He might replace it with His Easy Yoke and Light Burden. He solved the ever looming MOUNTAIN of SIN/DEATH and cast it into the ocean depths. Halleluyah!
Once He lifts you up above your sorrows, you will see mountains faced by other people. Faith in Him moves these into the sea. Mountains of SIN, SHAME, ENEMIES, MARRIAGE, ADDICTIONS will transform into MOUNTAINS OF HIS GLORY.
LUKE 3:5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low
MICAH 1:4 The mountains will melt under Him, And the valleys will split Like wax before the fire, Like waters poured down a steep place.
NAHUM 1:5 The mountains quake before Him, The hills melt, And the earth [a]heaves at His presence, Yes, the world and all who dwell in it.
PSALM 121:1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Knowing our sin burden was taken away and our guilt and shame removed is a great relief. Having experienced this ourselves let us have compassion on others who are burdened with sin and feel helpless and guilty. Let us lead them to Christ. It is our duty.
